About Jenny
I began my yoga journey over 15 years ago and was hooked from the first flow. An avid traveler, I’ve been fortunate to practice different yogic and meditative disciplines across Korea, Japan, Mexico, and Spain, where I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Wild Warrior Yoga in beautiful Andalusia. These global experiences have nurtured a keen sense of compassion and inclusivity in my teaching style, along with a deep appreciation for all the small, seemingly random connections that enrich our lives.
I'm certified in ashtanga, vinyasa, pranayama, and meditation. I'm also a Level II Usui Reiki healer and enjoy guiding students toward release and relaxation through yin/restorative-style practices. In my classes, I seek to cultivate a strong mind-body connection, leading practitioners toward a state of fortitude as well as balance -- between effort and ease, between power and flexibility, between tapas (discipline) and santosha (contentment). As a singer, I love to incorporate healing vibrations into my classes, whether in the form of Indic instruments, chimes and bells, mantras, or an invigorating playlist!

Yoga is both a profoundly introspective journey and a uniquely communal experience. I am deeply grateful to all the wonderful teachers who have enhanced and elevated my understanding of the practice as well as my own body, especially Kristin Leigh and Kino MacGregor.

I currently teach weekly classes all over Brooklyn. In-person and online privates for individuals and small groups are also available. When I'm not on the mat, you can find me snuggling with my dachshund mix and reading all things sci-fi/fantasy.
